Good Morning Parents/Members,
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday evening unfortunately again all Face to Face Scouting has been suspended. We are still going to provide a digital/online programme via Zoom on a Friday evening so please make every effort to attend, and we encourage all members to pop along and see what we have planned. Following last nights Group Executive Meeting we have also decided that we are not going charge the monthly subs until we are back holding Face to Face meeting in our building in Hunsworth. I will contact you all nearer the time and advise when this will be restarting so we can get Standing Orders set back etc. but for now please don’t worry about subs.
I am aware that some young people don’t like the Zoom platform and meeting virtually, this is perfectly fine, if however they wish to look at some Scouting badges which can be done at home please have a look online at https://badges.bescouts.org.uk/ and click on the relevant section (Beavers/Cubs/Scouts) and it will show you a list of suitable badges. To submit your evidence for each badge you can just click on the submit evidence link and choose (11th Spen Valley Scout Group) from the list and upload your files and they will be sent directly to the leaders.
