A big thank you to the crew down at Cleckheaton Fire Station for having the Cubs and Scouts from 11th Spen Valley this evening - they seemed to love it!
Congratulations to Michael and Rebecca Holroyd who at this afternoon’s St George’s day parade were awarded their Wood Badge to signify the completion of their leader training.
Both Michael and Rebecca hold additional roles so this afternoon’s award is to signify a change of role.
Michael’s is his Group Scout Leader Wood Badge and Rebecca’s is for her Assistant Beaver Scout Leader.
Congratulations to you both from everyone at the 11th!

What a weekend for the group!
The Beavers did a weekend (2 night) sleepover at Fanwood, and the Older Cubs and Scouts spent the weekend at Wharfside House at Kettlewell in Yorkshire Dales.
