On Friday the 12th October the scouts held an international night. All scouts and leaders attended in a costume representing a country of their choice. This included Japan, China, France, Australia and Scotland – to name but a few.
The scouts were asked to bring information about the country of their choice and if possible an activity or game relevant to that country. Several games with an international theme were played including French cricket, Sumo wrestling and a game involving trying to pick smarties up with chop sticks!
The scouts sampled a wide variety of foods from different countries and an international themed ‘run around’ quiz was held.
This was a fun night enjoyed by all.
